The Forgotten City is a narrative-driven time-loop adventure mystery game set in an ancient Roman city. It began as a popular Skyrim mod and evolved into an indie title developed by Modern Storyteller.

The story centers on investigating an ancient curse that turns all citizens into golden statues if someone commits a crime. The player must use intelligence, logic, and time travel to solve the mystery and save the inhabitants.
